Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Guy I drag raced with changed his oil after every track day. Track day = 4-6 passes down the 1/4mile.
HE swore it was worth HP.
my student last weekend had a subie and while it didn't blow up or over heat he did have to turn the boost all the way down to 15-16psi, basically run off the WG spring, to keep from bucking and surging part throttle. Even at that little boost the car felt very quick.
HE swore it was worth HP.my Evo with koyo rad and running 24 psi, and my oil temp doesn't get above 220F (ambient temp in the mid 90's)
i've instructed 2 wrx and 2 sti (that i can remember) and they all over heated. had to turn the boost way down or come in early. i tell them to turn the heat on and blast the fan and that does seem to help.

The f30 seems to heat up to that 220 degree F when I have the AC on and I drive it a little hard. Seemed a little on the hot side if you ask me but I don't know my way around the bimmers yet.
