I'm not sure how to apply the discount but they were listed on the member discount page of the BMW CCA site.

$162.41 for my car. That is a little steep, I was hoping to be closer to your $93. This will be close to a grand by the time I am done. Didn't I originally break that total out? I almost look for a co-driver to split expenses but I do not trust my car. Who knows how it will be after I hammer on it for a half hour straight. Think it would be wise to test it out before having someone drive with me.

Yea, found that then, but it just links directly to the insurance site as normal...lame.

Not sure how Marc got $93 for him and a co-driver when mine is $94 ($12.5K value )...must be he is dominating the HPDE insurance too...

Mike, I don't think you're that far off. When I did mine, it was around $150 for my car, which I valued at $17k. I'm planning to buy it when we go to WGI this September. One thing I'd like to find out is how it works if you make a claim. Do you get the entire amount based on the agreed upon value of the car, net of the deductible? Or do they send out an adjustable, and you can get up to that amount.

From their site:
Small Deductible
When you do have a claim, only a small 5% ($1,500 min. and $5,000 max.) deductible applies.

The two guys I know who used the ins. said they were paid their full policy amount less the deductable AND they were paid within a few weeks time!

I hope I never have to use the insurance, but if I do, I will actually make money on my bimmer. lol.

I just got an email back from BMW CCA and they said there's not discount code. You just log into the BMW CCA site and clicking the "discount link" for the HPDE insurance.

The deductible depends on which company you buy from. I saw a few places take up to 10%.

Get paid in full plus keeping your car is awesome. I kinda want to wall my call slightly... I would make money on mine also.
