It's ok, everything is going to be alright. Your right I'm wrong.

My car has seen many track days, and never blown up. Plus this is my 9th Subaru, which all of my past ones were all track cars with no issues. This is actually my first Subaru that developed a problem for me big enough to replace the engine. So don't group me together with all the noobs with Subaru's going out to the track with their un-prepped daily. If you want to play that game, let me put together a list of all the EVO's that have had DNF issues.

To me, if you never seen a Subaru do a full track day, you haven't been to enough events. Just sayin'.
Its not about right or wrong, its about you doing a track day in your car.

It was a 'slight' exaggeration to say every subi I've seen on track has blown up, but they do have more than their fair share of mechanical issue. Overheating is a big problem. For whatever reason(s) they don't hold up well to 20-30 minute sessions on a race track.

One of my students at the narra event last month had a subi with an 09 sti turbo running low boost and that thing couldn't keep from over heating. I had him turn it down to WG pressure and spike his tank and that helped a little but he still couldn't do a full session without overheating. true story, bro.

Like I said, don't group me with noobs. LOL.

You'll see it out there, not a problem.

Is it just me, or are we going to need to call in the heavies again to start another (3rd) thread?

Why is that? This is PCD, and since the competition is getting hot and the events are getting closer it's only normal for the thread to turn into a piranha state.

It would not be the first time. I think the philly thread, if combined, would be the largest, and longest discussion on this forum. We might as well start voting on another name. Lets not forget I NAMED this thread so I made all of you what you are today folks, I'm kinda a big deal (if ya know what I mean).
