Thanks for the replies.

Looks like the criss-cross thing is good when you have the money to do it.

Front to back for me then.

I think the proper way is to unmount the tires.

Now they have the directional treading they are marked 'Outside' and 'Inside' on the sidewall, so if I rotate them I can only go Front to Back right?

Does that mess anything up since the manual says front to back but cross the rear tires when you put them up front?
Robert, I just checked on tirerack and it doesn't say they are directional tires. Are they? Even if the tread pattern looks directional, it does not mean its a directional tire. The inside/outside markings are on almost all tires sold today. It doesn't make the tires directional. Not trying to be a smart-***, just saying. I think the sumitomo is just an asymmetrical tire like the RE11, not a directional tire.

The RE-11s also look like they have directional tread, but are not directional tires. The grooves actually face different directions from the left side to the right side.

Thats an awful lot of money to be throwing around every oil change... I'm sure thats what the dealer or local shop would like you to do but I don't know that its really necessary. Front to back has always worked fine for me in the past, I've never had any wear issues with my car and I'm on my 4th set of tires.

If i noticed uneven wear, maybe i would so a proper rotate every 4th oil change or something.

but i agree, its too much money. It would be cheaper just to save the cash for your next set.

Its a guy... He's been to a few of the events at CBP, although I haven't seen him much (if at all) this season. I know I saw him last year. I've never talked to him, but his car looks nice.

I'll see how the others of your car turned out & post what i can.
As for the Tial i doubt he will be needing it rite now cause his shep trans decided to break a tooth off of second gear. He trying to sell his Work wheels & get a stock set along with selling his cams now to afford fixing it.

I loved the car, it was a clean nicely modded GG with jdm rear. Never saw an evo with a side exit yet so that was a plus. I never got to see or meet the driver though.

Why the change to Sonic tonight? The Oaks meet is also tonight. Why do two different meets 8 miles apart?

Got a Mikita buffer. I used Lake Country pads, but lately been using some small brand pad.

Only way to tell is to look at the sidewall of the tire. It should be clearly printed on the tire if it's directional or not. I would not assume a performance tire like the RE-11 is reversable.

Regarding Robert's inside/outside thing, a lot of tires are like that...meaning the outside is mounted the same direction as the face of the rim. It has nothing to do with being directional. Rather a different way of mounting requirements!
