I heard a ton of cones calls and off course for the 2nd heat over the radio. I was very suprised myself at the amount...it was none-stop. I had trouble with the cones myself yesterdays, but it was one of the better layouts for Warminster imo. I struggled with the cones also...

How was the course? I bailed out because of the heat.

Chu, you really struggled with the cones today huh? My third run was ugly with 3.

So glad they compressed us to two heats, made the day much easier.

Chip, sorry I missed you, still have yet to meet you. I did check out your car though, that ish is uber clean.
I called it... Nice driving. Wasn't one of your goals to beat Stephen?

I wanna beat everyone to be honest... I know thats not a realistic goal, but I don't show up to run last thats for sure. I think all of steve's run's were dirty, my saving grace.

I don't know what the hell some of those cars were doing in SM, did you see that Neon? Watch Sri's vid, its the car that goes off right before him.

I don't see what the big deal is with everyone moaning about the course being too cone intensive. I personally don't want an easy course everytime, I want to be challanged.

Warminster is always a speed course for us with a few technical elements thrown in. Usually course flows nice there, this course seemed to tight in spots and I hated the loop in the beginning. Me personally I never like looping any course, it just seems like an attempt to add time and is usually a boring element.

Normal Warminster is a few long slaloms, the turnaround, couple transitions in between and before the finish. Rev limiters normally are bouncing, we did not have that yesterday. Plus there were entirely to many off courses and cones which means a lot of people were not seeing the course. Usually when the course flows, so does the event, people don't get lost to often and usually don't have 20 cone calls when they run.

With all that said I had fun, still trying to learn the 370Z, much different car than the Evo.

Chu was working on some technique yesterday, so the cones for him are understandable. Chu - practice that look ahead **** everywhere when you are driving, getting off of highway off ramps, nice sweeper turns on street etc. Looking ahead while daily driving will translate to looking ahead on course while Autoxing.

Is that what the discussion is over at phillyscca? As I already said, I thought it was one of the better layouts of Warminster!

Mike, thanks for the fuel and driving tips yesterday!

The bar has def been rubbing the sub-frame (or whatever the hell that is right there), but I don't know now for sure. Is it possible that thing is loose... I have no clue.

It is definitely in the front end, but if all bushing were replaced on sway bar then I am thinking strut. Pete make sure are the bolts are tight on the strut, my rear drivers side Ohlin coilover had a loose top bolt which was causing the shaft to move. It would make a noise at times, I discovered it when I was sitting in my trunk working on something, if I bounced I could see the shaft moving at the top of coil over which is bot good.
Chu your car had a similar banging noise in front, just not as bad as Pete's. Both of you should get your cars in the air and check all your suspension bolts are tight to eliminate the possibility of something stupid being wrong.
Pete if you can't find it by doing that I suggest you remove the strut from the side of banging noises for a close inspection. That should lead you somewhere, BTW you will need to realign car if you remove strut.

Already on it my friend! I already ordered new front swaybar bushings, and the car is getting on the lift this weekend. I will be sure to check out for other things also. Talking about bolts getting loose, my driver's side front happens all the time. I need to get an impact gun on that thing!

Where and when are you putting yours up in the air?

This thing has been such a pita, it needs to be fixed and done with.

I'm thinking thats a wise choice.

Mike suggestion of the strut sounds like the next logical place to look. didn't you have a spare set someone (Andy I believe) loaned you?

Sometime this weekend. I'm thinking the lca bushings may be wore down also...but pulling those will require an alignment which I have to schedule for before proceeding.
