Its probably the width that requires the permit. Anything wider than 8'6"
My buddy doesn't take his out nearly as often as he should either... Those things need to get ran, they don't like sitting. the one motor was giving us trouble on friday during the day, after cruising around for a while and a $230 bar/food bill it ran perfect.

Ft. Lauderdale. The boat is meant for off shore, it can be a bumpy ride if its real choppy, if the water is smooth it's friggen awesome. We did launch the hell out of it 3 times in a row on Sunday, I'll admit it scared the living ish out of me.

The backstory... My buddy lives down there. Went to BMW STEP program in Orlando and stayed in Fla. Now works for Vista BMW, huge dealership, top ten in country in size. It's his boat. He's the oldest of 3, I graduated with the youngest, the middle grad 2 yrs before me, and Tom (who I was visiting) graduated with my sister. I've know all of them far a very long time now. It was Tom's 37th b-day, thats why I went down. His girl and Shelly hit it off, so she's always asking when were coming down, hence the trip.

Tom

Boat and tow vehicle, gives you another idea of the size.

Sorry, I know that was long.

Next to his house... its actually a hell of a feat to see him do it, he has to back it down his street and next to his house. He only has about 6 inches of clearence with the roof, I don't know how he hasn't destroyed one or the other yet. No mansion either, smaller 3bd rm house, reasonable lot, the backyard is dominated by the pool and tiki hut.

Here,

Its close!

GTFO, you exist?

CHeck the junk yards in Southwest Philly, on the Passyunk strip. There's a ton of them on the same strip!

i've bought numerous cars and am aware of the lines and treatment you receive. this was much different. it felt more like buying a car from someone's backyard. they just wanted to sell the thing. not F around with front loaded or end loaded deals.

i decided to look this video up and this is the typical douche bag at the dealership at 1 minute 30 seconds. (disclaimer: if i found some dealership **** ****ing with my car.....even my corrolla, i'd beat their asses up and down the street)

At 2:01 is that front wheel just floating while the front lip takes the weight of the car for a few seconds? LMAO.
