i've bought numerous cars and am aware of the lines and treatment you receive. this was much different. it felt more like buying a car from someone's backyard. they just wanted to sell the thing. not F around with front loaded or end loaded deals.

i decided to look this video up and this is the typical douche bag at the dealership at 1 minute 30 seconds. (disclaimer: if i found some dealership **** ****ing with my car.....even my corrolla, i'd beat their asses up and down the street)

being as I wont be able to check evom much tomorrow since ill be slammed at work, ill ask your opinions now. Just got off the phone with jeff catching up and chatting a bit, trying to get some opinions on a dilemma.

in the next year I will have the money for 1 of 2 things, want to know what you guys think. I have valid opinions and argument for myself, but will hold them until you guys answer.

I can A.) get a bigger turbo. Maybe stock frame (aka FP Black, or something smaller like a 3076 like the sandman)

or B.) Get the pistol that I have wanted since I was 16 and can now finally buy (live not with parents) and also afford to purchase and go shoot regularly.

I'll throw some of my reasoning out after I hear from you guys, but let me know!

Chu, ill ask around I may no some guys down here that have stock fender liners lying around and I'll be back up soon and def for the meet. Ill know more friday so ill txt you. /end long post
Not knowing what pitsol you want, I will use the turbo for budgetary purposs. An FP Black will end up costing you more then 2500 said and done. Buying the turbo is one thing, but you still need injectors, Evo 8 install kit, and a tune. You'd prolly also want to get the mani poted for maximum efficiency. Buying a complete kit like Sandy's will depend on getting it new or used, but I think you'll end up paying the same amount.

These are all things to be considered and planned for. So my opinion, is from a budget perspective. What can you afford to do?

chu, all very good points and questions. i was speaking about just the turbo itself. I am already going to do all of the supporting mods most likely at my 60K service, so all will be left to do is get a bigger turbo.

i will use the car more than the pistol, however the pistol will last forever and I can use it as much as my budget allows. the one things is I know I like doing my car in stages as i become a better drive, and the car already has way more power and potential than I am capable of on the daily basis at 300whp. so the jump to the fp black would be awesome for highways, not always so in the turns.

if i were going to get the gun I really wanted, it would be the kimber stainless golden combat. runs about 1809 online, so around the same price as the turbo, which is why i decided to try an compare, tho they are totally different things.

either way, i could always build the car in prep for the turbo, and either do it now, later or never and still be happy with some new found power since im only on a filter, mbc and tbe.

decisions decisions....

I would get the gun, especially if you've wanted it since you were a kid. Do that and by the time you save up enough money to get the turbo 'the next big thing' will be out and the black will have been old news... just sayin.

haha theres always gona be the NEXT big thing, which is good for the sport. that being said, i dont see any track days in my future working 12 hours a day and weekends sometimes too, so the gun may be more practical for the short term. and other than highway bragging rights, 500whp isnt needed driving to and from the office.

hookers, blow, and guns. sounds like an awesome time! marc i think you may be right, but then again, pete you too! ha just saying....

In case you haven't seen the BMI 4 rotor RX-8.... It sounds sick, expecially when its revs. Sounds like an F1 car.

I like. The 1911 is a great handling gun. Have you shot one before?

endlessly customizable as well.
