didn't see anyone checking out my ride, but I can say mine was the only EVO I saw while I was down there.
I dunno if I ever posted it before but the one on the back of the vette said 9SEC 6PD
took me a while to get that one too.
we were staying in the 200 block of 24th street. not a bad area, only a few blocks from the beach. I drove thru stone harbor to check things out, there are some huge houses right on the beach. is that where your in-laws are??

i parked my car on 96th street and went shopping
with my wife then grabbed ice cream and sat near the car while he ate it. while we were there, like 70% of the people walking were checking it out and commenting about it. some younger guys were even taking pictures

i liked that it was getting attention but it isn't like it's so rare like some ferrari. and it's been out for 2-3 years now.
also i think you're talking about the Herr's (potato chip company) family house around 53ish street on the beack. that looks like an entire beach resort. 100s of millions dollars.

Porsche's GT3R Hybrid at Road Atlanta Oct. 2, interesting car. I want a boost pedal.
The 911 GT3 R Hybrid features two electric motors at the front axle, each developing 60 kilowatts to supplement the 480-horsepower normally aspirated rear engine. When the driver brakes, the car converts kinetic energy into electrical energy and stores it in a flywheel. When the driver accelerates, this energy is automatically delivered to the front wheels, supporting the combustion engine. This leads to a reduction in fuel consumption and increases the cruising range. Drivers can manually utilize the stored energy with a boost paddle on the steering wheel for overtaking other cars in a race.
