Bad truck news for me, basically my whole front end suspension needs to be replaced! New leaf springs, new upper and lower ball joints, entire tie rod system needs to be replaced and then a new alignment...... $1926 Yea

So between the trans and this I could have leased a 2011 truck for at least a year. I will be driving my diesel for another 10 years at this rate.

Mike that sucks are you going to get a second opinion? I find it hard to believe a diesel would run thru an entire front suspension setup... those things are usually way over engineered from the factory.

 

that does suck. sorry to hear. it's never fun when you have to spend money on the vehicle whose sole purpose is utilitarian (as opposed to pleasure).
