Quote: thats the stupidest analogy ever.

I had those, pretty useless in anything but a dusting. Get some LM-60's, you'll feel like you're unstoppable, lol.

Just be careful not to bottom out (snow lifting up the body of the car). If we get any good snow this year, the tires will pay for themselves in fun, while giving you some good margins for accident avoidance.
Your the stupiest

Quote: i got side swiped by a box truck that slid in the snow. he didn't stop and i end up with $14k in damage on my 8 month old evo. i lost all desire to go playing in the snow after that and never have in this car.
Your missing out.

Love the way the Zonda sounds, esp from inside the cabin.

i find so many funny user-written things on tirerack and autotrader. this just amused me..

Quote: This is a 2008 Mazda Mazdaspeed 3 with 39,000 miles on it. This car has several aftermarket parts on it and the list is as follows: Enkei Rims w/ Toyo tires, Turbosmart Blow off valve, Injen cold air intake, Cobb tuning accessport, Street unit test pipe, Street unit rear motor mount, Street unit side motor mounts (not installed yet). These parts alone add up to $3,200. I bought the car brand new for $23,000 and am now selling it for $17,500 my loss and your gain. I am the original owner and the car has never been in a accident. I have only ever put high octane gas in it and every time i change the oil i use full synthetic. Car runs and drives great. With the access port my current set up it runs on 17PSI boost and pulls like a EVO. Any questions don't hesitate to contact me, i'll be happy to answer them.

Thats not true!!! When it snows I take it out and beat the death out of it like every evo owner should.
I'm still trying to figure out my winter tire situation. I had it out the other weekend when it was real cold and the backend completely stepped out on me when I was taking a right turn at 3/4 throttle. StarSpecs do not like near freezing temps..

those Zonda videos were great.

Watching the original top gear after watching the US version really shows how crappy the US version is. Jeremy Clarkson has way more charisma than all three of the US guys put together.

^ I have been looking, everything I find has an older production code though. The compound in snows seems to really harden with age, they tend to lose all grip when this happens regardless of how much tread they have. I'm supposed to go look at a set tonight but they were manufactured in 05, not too crazy about that...

^ why not just buy new set of blizzacks and use them for 5 years instead of trying to find a used set that will last only a couple years only to have to do it all over again.
