Actually I really need a better set of pads. These girodisc magicpads are the worst. Driving up to KHC on Saturday I felt like I had no brakes in the rain. I'd have to step on them to dry then stomp to stop.
I felt like a ricer when warning pete about my brakes when he took my car out and they're new pads.

Just kidding... I don't even know if they make something for the X, but they prob do...
get the hell out of here...
Your injectors in?
I can fit rear pads from the viii and ix with my pad adapters......I just have to grease them to death.
I'm not pushing anything. I made a bad call on the Girodisc pads, and I dont plan on doing it again! All I'm saying is I like th 800s I have.
As for the injectors, I'm not putting them in until I get a map!
Edit: Dan, you got your post in seconds before me. I hate my Girodisc too....dammit!

I will probably do another Reading area cruise this summer, just need to figure out a different route, yet somehow include the Pagoda Hill Climb.

Thats the last of my parts... now its time to but this bish back together.
I just ordered up my new pads this morning. I looked at teh RB lineup but didn't think they would work with the tire I'm running. So after talking to quite a few people who autox/TT/HPDE I wound up going with my original choice... XP-10s

I checked the ratings on the pad and decided not to roll the dice, but rather go with what I know. I'd rather pay a little more and get the performance I'm looking for then save a couple bucks and not be 100% happy. Now, having said that, if Pete wants to let me try a set out I will be happy to give my honest, unbiased opinion (whatever that is woth) and if they are better I will run them.
btw, you guys are busy today. I was in meetings all morning and afternoon... the whole time I was just looking out the window thinking of all the stuff I could be doing on my car instead of sitting in some stuffy board room with a bunch of grey hairs.
