I hate to break this to you Ry but somewhere along the line you will have to stroke someone else's ego to get where you want to be. If you need to do it in the interview to get your foot in the door so be it. Gotta look at the big picture brother...

that sucks. there really is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, but some of those reasons they gave are total BS. who wouldn't want someone who is prepared? I'm sure something will come eventually, you just have to keep looking...

High of 72, sun to clouds, is what I saw this morning on Accuweather. Should be nice.

No new wheels...well actually, Evo 8 stockers on Toyo R1Rs...no big changes. Gonna stick with this all season unless some deal comes along for a nice set of 18s. Even then, I will wait til next season to use them.

I can bring buns, along with a bag of chips (preferences). Everyone's on their own for drinks?

cool. jim brings some good times.

in other news: i got my tax refund today but i used a good portion of it to pay off a credit card balance. i am thrilled to be free of that though. am i the only one who pays cash for car parts? i feel irresponsible putting that kind of a stuff on a credit card unless i am using paypal or whatever.

I pay cash for everything! When buying online, I use my debit card. Hopefully doing my taxes today and find out what I'm gettign back. Being single and non-home owner doesn't help...

I need to do my taxes

I use my credit card for everything, but I pay the balance in full every month.

x2

except I use my credit card online, not debt. I use a CC for purchasing almost everything because of the protection it provides, but I've never paid an interest payment on a credit card in my life. My opinion is that if you can't afford to pay cash for it, or pay the statement in full when it comes in, then you really can't afford it and shouldn't be buying it.

I got a nice return this year too. Having a kid really helps and next year should be even better with #2 coming in 5 weeks. I'm using my refund to fund my IRA's like I always do.
