Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
turns out i may be here this weekend. i got rejected for my AZ job. when speaking with the people who interviewed me, the reasons they gave me i was "too confident, not subtle enough, too excited, and too prepared for the interview". someone please tell me WTF thats supposed to mean and since when is that bad? glad i wasted 9 months on that job. the main guy just wanted his, we'll call it, ego stroked, and i wasnt having it.
so if anyone knows of any job opportunities, esp in the medical device/pharma/healthcare industry please let me know! i hate this SH^T. okay i think rant over for now. gosh darn suns of bi*ches

there really is a fine line between confidence and arrogance, but some of those reasons they gave are total BS. who wouldn't want someone who is prepared? I'm sure something will come eventually, you just have to keep looking...
Doug, Ben, either one of you cats making it out?
Sounds like a party! Jim is dropping by.
cool. jim brings some good times.
in other news: i got my tax refund today but i used a good portion of it to pay off a credit card balance. i am thrilled to be free of that though. am i the only one who pays cash for car parts? i feel irresponsible putting that kind of a stuff on a credit card unless i am using paypal or whatever.

I pay cash for everything! When buying online, I use my debit card. Hopefully doing my taxes today and find out what I'm gettign back. Being single and non-home owner doesn't help...

except I use my credit card online, not debt. I use a CC for purchasing almost everything because of the protection it provides, but I've never paid an interest payment on a credit card in my life. My opinion is that if you can't afford to pay cash for it, or pay the statement in full when it comes in, then you really can't afford it and shouldn't be buying it.
I got a nice return this year too. Having a kid really helps
and next year should be even better with #2 coming in 5 weeks. I'm using my refund to fund my IRA's like I always do.
