Passed today! WOOT! Well, the flag was removed, I have to go back to the original station to get my sticker.

Wow, I'm telling you I've been having ongoing heartburn for the past few weeks and it went away after passing today. This car stress on top of work and family/kids was getting to me...

Many Thanks to all, especially Dynotech for all the help and advice!

I passed in Braintree, he is a good guy. He called me after I failed last time to give some advice, and I knew what to look for....

Take care.

I'm glad everything worked out for you Franz

Slowly everyone will get their parameters set back to the correct stock values and pass their inspections. The good news is, you only need to make these corrections once, so next inspection should be like any other.

My issue (Granted my sticker is in may) is that I don't have EGR or my Fuel pressure solenoid. Is there any way to do a makeshift EGR to an AMS or Magnus Intake Manifold?

We're actually talking with one of the big intake mani fabricators to offer a version that retains the stock EGR and EVAP hook ups. As far as an EGR adapter goes, I'm really unsure.

lol, I'm sure it won't be available until next spring at the earliest. We'll probably have a prototype made for us, then we'll test it out on one of our shop evo's. Then we'll do a group buy to see who is interested.

Hello all,

Int the process of re-Evap/EGR-ing my car. Thanks again for the informative thread.

One more question... The Hi/low "Octane EGR-Enabled Advance " maps are zero'd out in the defualt V7 downloads. Is this a problem? Have you been repopulating these maps with the original 94170015 values or just leaving it empty?

DL tephras v7 map in his first post, not the prepatched ones from Phenem. It should have all of the proper values for ya.

Dynotech, I was talking to my buddy who has an 04 Cobra and runs a mechanic shop that does emissions. He said he had the issue with his cobra but was able to mock up something on his EGR. He is looking into seeing if it can be done on our cars. It was something along the lines of letting the EGR hang (plugged into the solenoid) and then attaching a vacuum source since the ECU at least on his car just checks to see if it has the vacuum running through it, not regulating the gases.

Have you heard of any of this on our cars, or know why it wouldn't work?

Do you NOT have a functioning EGR in the car now?

Sorry, probably should mention this again since the thread is getting larger. I have all aftermarket fuel setup (For the fuel solenoid issue, but I heard you can just plug in harness and let hang) and I have a magnus V5 Intake Manifold so no support for EGR.
