Evo Seat Issue

So i went to mitsu yesterday about the lining on the drivers side seats coming off. The said they got a memo about it and they dont know if its from " the horspower of the car " and how your body moves in the seat due to the power. I laughed right in the guys face.. He had to present it to the mitsu rep on monday and see if they warantee it. I said i had 20k on the car and it was the time in the seat that caused this .. not the horsepower. I'll keep you guys posted when i talk to them tomm. My talon seats didnt come apart with 140k miles on them i dont see how they can say these seats are supposed to do it.

the stitching didnt come apart ..the cloth has come away from the sponge on the seat. Hard to explain, it looks all wrinkly if your out of the seat .. and you can pull it like 3 inches away from the seat with your fingers. I want a new seat ...

The high horsepower of the car tore up the seats... that's a good thing, right?

Turbotrix Racing Evolution 8: So fast it ****s your seats up.

I saw Mark's car, yeah the blue cover on the back side is not tight anymore. The best way to describe it is it looks like as if it was glued to the spunge and has now come loose and has air between the seat and the cover. Looks ****ty.
Hope they fix it for ya Mark.

Yea, I know what your talking about mines doing the same thing. I'm just gonna pull the seat cover off and use some 3M spray adhesive on the foam then roll the cover back over.

What bull****. Your making to much power to the seat is coming apart? What the hell is there problem? you spend 30K on a car and can't even get the seat fixed because you power train excedes the recommended OEM power level.
