PCD: Last year's version
some motors just make more noise than others. I get lots of knock when transitioning from vacuum to boost or when I let off the gas REAL fast and get back on it. I don't worry about those knock counts, but when I'm WOT down the straight on a hot day and the light is flashy-flashy, then I consider that knock.
You guys who don't see the light all that often I'll bet have your knock sensor filters/tables/thresholds modified from stock. Try running the OEM values and see what that light does.
Team Band-Aid OUT!

I like the a pillar for gauges. It's ricey. It it's a good eyes up spot that is easy to glance at. The pods do get in the way at the track though, mainly in long left handers like the octopus at tbolt.
FYI, Zylene is 118 octane and is already a content of pump gas. you can get a gallon of Zylene for $19 at Lowes. its unleaded and best of all, it's NOT a band aid. BOOM!
5 gal 93 oct + 2 gal 100 oct = 95 oct (unleaded)
5 gal 93 oct + 1 gal 110 oct = 96 oct (leaded)
5 gal 93 oct + 1 gal zylene = 97 oct (unleaded)

^ How is that NOT a band-aid?
Zylene may be used in refining gasoline, but I wouldn't recommend dumping an entire gallon of the stuff into your tank. IMO you'e better off using some race gas, which is made to be burned in your car, instead of something made to strip paint.

there is as much as 30% of toluene/zylene in normal gas. race gas may contain more.

When my car is running good and I'm doing decent laps I don't hate everyone anymore.
I'm selling my Zeitronix LCD setup for an AEM Fail-safe WB. I haven't had a WB for 2 track days. No need for it, though I'm getting the fail safe just in case the pump or injectors kick.
I never get the "flashy flashy" and I have unmodified stock thresholds.. oem values. I'm using Tephrav7 aswell.
