PCD: Last year's version
You could very well fit just one wheel and tire up front but I think using two smaller ones (ones that had to be specially made) increases the stability but I can't imagine its any more or even equal to the stability of the LMP cars its running with.
So far around Road Atlanta, its faster than the LMP2 cars. But it's also a lot lighter. Must be that Nissan powa. Those SR20's pull a premium before Petit Le Mans.
Anyone driving the delta wing needs to wear this:

I can imagine the carnage of a bunch of delta wings going into turn 1 at the start of a race and all flipping over and over around the turn. Other than it being one of the most hilarious looking starts to any race I'm sure having a car that rolls a lot during crashes in a mix classed racing series ain't going to be good for safety of the driver. They may need closed-cockpit style and then it might be ok. Let the rolling begin as the Reliant Robin of LMPs makes it's own class.
