I don't like the A-pillar gauges because it hinders my vision in left handed turns. I had a narrow-band before, the colors didn't bother me.

You guys who don't see the light all that often I'll bet have your knock sensor filters/tables/thresholds modified from stock. Try running the OEM values and see what that light does.

Team Band-Aid OUT!
I agree with you on this Mark. I don't pay alot of attention other than the straight. More importantly, I look at the AFR gauge more than be concerned if the light will flash. The Evo sensor is super sensitive too, which should be considered. Those of you who have the CEL mod should look to see what threshold its set at also.

I like the a pillar for gauges. It's ricey. It it's a good eyes up spot that is easy to glance at. The pods do get in the way at the track though, mainly in long left handers like the octopus at tbolt.

FYI, Zylene is 118 octane and is already a content of pump gas. you can get a gallon of Zylene for $19 at Lowes. its unleaded and best of all, it's NOT a band aid. BOOM!

5 gal 93 oct + 2 gal 100 oct = 95 oct (unleaded)
5 gal 93 oct + 1 gal 110 oct = 96 oct (leaded)
5 gal 93 oct + 1 gal zylene = 97 oct (unleaded)

How is that NOT a Band-Aid?

Besides $19/gallon is way more expensive that race gas.

Zylene may be used in refining gasoline, but I wouldn't recommend dumping an entire gallon of the stuff into your tank. IMO you'e better off using some race gas, which is made to be burned in your car, instead of something made to strip paint.

if you compare the octane level to 100 oct, then it's cheaper. 110 is a little cheaper per octane level but will cost you in o2 sensors in the long run.

not Not band aid because i approve it. BOOM!

you can also use gas and alcohol to strip paint, does that mean you shouldn't use it in your car? retard logic fool.

there is as much as 30% of toluene/zylene in normal gas. race gas may contain more.

I'm selling my Zeitronix LCD setup for an AEM Fail-safe WB. I haven't had a WB for 2 track days. No need for it, though I'm getting the fail safe just in case the pump or injectors kick.

I never get the "flashy flashy" and I have unmodified stock thresholds.. oem values. I'm using Tephrav7 aswell.
