Anyone want to meet up around French Creek Outfitters this weekend? After I get my career settled down, I am going to be purchasing another pistol, and want to check them out.

Or have I be ousted from PCD since my lack of participation over the last couple of months?

cheers gentleman

Ryan, you have been ousted for weak participation in PCD events.

Who cares anyways, I am not into buying guns, know little about them. I do know I own a Ruger and would be into going to shooting range as a planned event. When you get gun let me know and we will go shoot. There is Target World on 202 that is near me.

As far as tomorrow, I wanted to goto Whole Foods (Plymouth Meeting) tomorrow mid/late afternoon and sample beers and tacos from the taco truck. Anyone down with that idea?

Doubt I can make WGI, have no more $ right now. Wifey would killz me. I will have to goto one of the October events if my $ is right by then (wish I had James flow )

My fitness update for all of you who don't give 2 ish's

I am down 13 lbs as of last Sunday, weighed myself morning I got back from Nationals, actually lost 2 lbs. drinking and partying all week. I think the course walks helped me keep up, didn't workout at all while I was out there.

Did my first leg workout since 2005. OMG I almost puked, squats and lunges absolutely killed me. I thought I had my cardio in check because I have been running consistently, guess not. I can barely walk now too, guess I am really not used to the leg workout, out of everything I have been doing in gym this put the most hurting on me by far.

Now for my beer drinking, I allow myself alcohol Sat. night and Sunday (football). I need to calculate my calories and get this ish locked in, I am winging it for now, just eating clean and trying to get 5 meals a day in.

That is all, go back to your business....

Recovering from a leg workout is the WORST! I actually stopped doing them for a while because I spend most of my day on my feet and walking around the plant all day after killing it at the gym is just straight up torture. Glad to hear you're continuing your routine, although you'll have to find another excuse when I kick your a$$ in karting.

BTW, Mike.

Do it!

Mike, if you weighed yourself in the morning then it's all a wash. Weight doesn't mean ****. My weight varies by +/- 7 lbs throughout the day depending how much volume/water I take on.

True dat, I think I fluctuate 3-4 lbs. Every time I weigh myself I do it in morning prior to eating everything, usually after dropping a deuce. I figure if I consistently weigh myself at same time of day it will be all relative.

if you're doing legs then you should put on weight. just sayin.

using weight as a measure of physical fitness is for chicks on jenny craig unless you're morbidly obese and could drop 150 lbs of blubber.

Well I agree weight is just a guage to see how I am doing, like a reference point (only weigh myself once a week at same time of day). A better way would be to measure my BMI, but not really to worried about it. I just wanted to drop some unnecessary weight to start, then I would try and build some muscle. People who are trying to lose weight or build muscle all do some type of leg workout or at least they should from what I have learned. Nothing builds your core muscles like squats.

Women can do squats (wish my wifey would but she does not listen to anything I say) and look really good. Dan I know you know all this, but I thought I would respond anyways. Diet is the ultimate decider, you want to lose weight cut calories and exercise (do some cardio). You want to build muscle increase calories and exercise. Granted you have to eat the right stuff and get the fat, protein and calorie counts in check. Working toward that goal now, just getting used to eating right and working out still. Gots to walk before you can run..

In 2005 I paid for a diet and workout plan from a place online FLA Nutrition. I had a cutting plan and then a muscle building plan. Unfortunately I cannot find the diet plan, so I just am using the muscle building plan with my own diet ideas. The plan had my meals and what workouts I was doing that day coordinated. I lost 37 lbs cutting and then went back to around 200-205 when I was trying to build muscle, only thing bad was I hated the food on the diet. I put on approx 15-18 pounds of muscle then stopped working out when I had a mole removed from my back (right at shoulder blade) and then shortly after my son came along. So after a many year hiatus I am back at it now, next year six pack and I will be hanging with no shirt at autox .

Dan serious question, part of the reason I started back is I feel very fatigued during day (partially job and stress related, no $ etc.). Even with the diet and eating right I am still tired. Think my testosterone level is low or something, worth getting it checked? I am do for my annual physical, so I wanted to cover all the bases when I go in there.

Totally would have met up with you guys tonight and enjoyed the brews but I was informed this morning I have a 50th wedding anniversary party to go to tonight, my inlaws... I was told last week by the wife but did not pay attention to what was being said, what all men do basically. Next time I guess
