LOL, listen here NEWB, Warminster is a runway. There is no room to set up sweepers or most elements besides transitions and slaloms with one turnaround. If you run there and then CBP you would understand what I mean.

Regardless I should be way better at slaloms by now, it is a total weak spot in my autox skillz. I can get the car to transition ok, so it is mostly slaloms. I cannot seem to get my timing right. I had Jeff Hurst riding with me and eventually he had me rocking the slalom, but it takes him coaching me up in the car to get me to do it right. Something to do with how I enter slaloms or when I am in middle of slalom. Its like I am always late entering or I fall asleep in the middle. Pissing me off at this point..

Anyhow Warminster is played out for me, I am sick of the site. I need the stadiums for every event, nothing is more fun as far as I am concerned. If we have majority Warminster next year I am going to ask the Shoeman to consider Meadlowlands with NNJ as replacement for Warminster. Its an awesome site with tons of room.

runway could be nice if they use the taxi way also. Central Penn Region use the runway and taxi way and it's setup like a road course. it's probably the best lot that i've run at, but it's 2 hours drive form me. that was back in the days when i was hardcore with autox.

Mike, why you wanna avoid what you obviously call a weakness in your game? I would think Warminster would be where you'd want to spend the most time...

This is a great post! I agree with your logic, but I like a mix of elements when we run. We are at Warminster majority of events, I am just tired of running there. We always have slaloms at the other venues too, just a nice mix of everything is what I want.

I think I could practice slaloms from now until I die and I will still be weak sauce at them.

It'd be nice if they would use the Willow Grove airfield, tired of looking at that place and not seeing any action there with anything that goes fast, planes or in this case cars. Should make a PCD (aka Top Gear) Power lap course there BOOM! Or just rent it out and make your own track course. Setup some tire barriers, some lines, or place some cones for some autox courses.. whatever.

I noticed at the Mitsu hardparking event people have nice car chocks with logos. Can we get a group buy on PCD logo'd Car Chocks? Or they could be yellow and have numbers just like they do for aircraft.

The Philly regions has been actively involved in trying to secure that site for the last three years. We have a few people that are in contact with the county, local, and state authorities, plus the military/DOD officials. The whole "who's property is it going to be after the base officially closes" thing makes it almost impossible to be able to even speculate about when/if anyone will ever be able to do anything with that prime autoracing real estate.
