Even so, they do enforce the rules.

I know that at least for their circle tracks there is no passing below the line towards the infield. That's definite. I don't think they know what to do about road courses.

I was recently saying how the equipment and drivers of NASCAR have greatly improved over the last 10 years. They used to all b!tch and moan and fight NASCAR over having to run road courses. The only person I heard complaining this weekend was dale jr.

I dont think either helped chu... it was your driving (and some helpful tips) that got you the Nguyen!

Besides, I have oem rad and oem fmic and I went faster than you did, so by that logic, those CBRD parts must have slowed chu down. Maybe what you need is a big ol' wing to balance the car out.

Only at Dega and Dayton are you not allowed to pass below the yellow.

You guys crack me up... none of you even watch NASCAR yet claim to know all the rules. I'm not saying I do, but I watch enough to know/see what you can do and what you cant (for the most part).

Ever watch a NASCAR quali session? You will see on a lot of the track the driver drop way below the yellow line on the front "straight" to shorten the distance traveled... Why no penalty? Because its no illegal to do.

I don't know NASCAR rules. I didn't claim to. Was just curious. All I know is, it lives up to Pete's sig. Driver's hold grudges, take it on track, and bumping people out of races is the norm.

Marc, you've inspired me to start a new thread. Chu's HPDE Adventures. Here's a taste:

I bought my car in 2006.

*Insert awesome pic*

Now, car is broken

*Insert NemoRacing Evo as inspiration for rebuild.

By that logic we should stick with OEM to go faster, no mods eva?

Just sayin'

You don't NEED mods to be fast around a racetrack. An experienced driver can get more out of a car than throwing parts at it. There were plenty of examples of this at the GTA event a couple weeks ago, lol. IN fact, in many cases adding too many mods can hinder your development.

I've always felt it was silly to mod such a capable car as the EVO when the driver still has much room for improvement... thats why I have a basement full of aftermarket parts I'm not using.

I've seen said basement, it's true.

James, I like your idea.
