Wait. Thousands of race car drivers safely and effectively use QRs every day but a few QR comes off on a few race cars causing minimal/if any death/damage and you think they are dangerous ...but assault weapons are ok? [ducksforcover]

QRs don't disengage, people disengage...right?

Assault weapons never go off on their own, and never jams. A few Amercians die and you want to ban assault rifles?

there are many race cars with QR that dont fail, but there are some that do (mechanical or user error). what's the chance of a fixed steering wheel coming off? not likely. i don't have a need for QR at the track, so why add another point of failure? if my car was fully caged and i have to ingress/egress with the door closed, then i would definitely installed a QR.

I like how Chu always refers to "americans" like he doesn't live here.

Box showed up for my trans, car gets dropped off tonight. Hopefully the trans will be on it's way to CO by Monday. The countdown for CTD begins now for me.
