Box showed up for my trans, car gets dropped off tonight. Hopefully the trans will be on it's way to CO by Monday. The countdown for CTD begins now for me.
Actually, I include myself when I use that term...

You're sending your trans to Jack Magee?

I've never had a QR fail, but I double and triple check the attachment before rolling out of paddock. If a a QR failed I wouldn't blame the QR or say they are unsafe. It's a mechanical device...and most likely either fatigued (I should have inspected it better) or I did not engage/install it properly...the fault of the loose nut behind the wheel.

I'm not going to play the semantics game with you about what is or is not an assault weapon, Thai.

I do not believe weapons alone are the problem....the problems are the people that possess the weapons. We need to better control the people that have access to weapons. "Gun control" is less about controlling the actual guns and more about controlling the people that can buy guns.

There is an easy answer: You want to play with big, powerful assault-type weapons? Join the military. Free background check. Free training. Free weapons. Free ammo. Free range time.

Want to own a big, powerful assault-type weapon?
1. Prove you are (a) an active military, (b) honorably discharged military, (c) civilian with no criminal history and have recently passed firearm safety training.
2. Register on a national database of permit applicants.
3. Pay to have a (a) background check and (b) a psych eval done.
4. Prove you have adequately safe weapon storage facilities.
5. Wait 2-4 weeks for processing.
6. If deemed fit, you (a) register on a national database as a permit holder and (b)register all owned weapons on a national database.
7. Buy weapons and ammo.
8. Pay for a range time.
9. Have fun.

<--joined the Army so I could blow stuff up and shoot big guns.

Join the military and your *** is owned by the government.

The guys who did the mass shootings would have passed all back ground checks because they have not committed prior crimes. And they would have waited 2 weeks for the guns cause they planned it out. It wasn't spur of the momment. They would probably failed the psych eval, but how would you do a psych eval? Why not do psych eval on people before they are allowed to have kids, you can save a lot more lives with that. Just saying
