I need to see wet tests before I would order them. Plus, the 245/40-17 I need is a 5/1/13 ETA?! Why are 245/40-17s such long lead times?! ZIIs in that size are 3/8/13!?! Someone doesn't want me to have new tires for CTD2.Originally Posted by killerpenguin21

I don't know who Andy S. is, but I automatically devalued his opinion when he wrote "Felkin" the second time--one time could be a typo, twice is intentional and shows lack of attention. Not to mention I have a problem with the whole BFG test in general since the intentionally neglected to include the ZIIs. Either BFG lied to Andy S. and/or Andy S lives under a rock, because many sizes of the ZII _ARE_ available...they had some there on MX-5 Cup Cars but only allowed a couple former-BFG drivers to actually test them....Originally Posted by chu

I look forward to some independent testing.

If u run NT05's you can.. NT05 275 = StarSpec 255. Originally Posted by dek0026

Thai, that icon has been there for a few days, I think I saw it over the weekend.

Rivals don't look very wet friendly. I know R1R are beast in the rain.
Although I didn't think the nt05 would be great in the rain at first look, they did great when I drove in heavy rain going to the track a few times, even with only 1/3 threads left.

Another glowing review..
.at least this tester was skeptical as to why the ZIis weren't there.
Also, sounds like the Rivals will also be a handful in anything more than damp conditions (ala RS3).

$920 for 255/40/17, no thanks.
looks like thread depth is 7/32.

Prices have come down $20 since this morning. I checked a few minutes ago and its now $210/ea or $840 for a set. Getting somewhat more reasonable, but I'd like to see it priced similar to Z-II. Originally Posted by honda-guy

Anyone in here use bottle jacks, and feel safe using them? Lowe's has a sale on 2-ton bottle jacks for $12.97.
