IN! I don't care where we go as long as it has an unlimited night so we can just pay one fee and keep running.

haha i dont mean it as a bad thing. you successfully showed me how hard my actual car can be pushed and stick, which is a very good reference point to have in my head. i think it immediately upped my confidence level in the car, so now i just need to push myself back to the gas faster.Originally Posted by 4cdndctn
Nah... Everyone needs to know if/how much their car can be pushed harder/we all need a gauge. I too have huge room for improvement on the SE course (some of which I learned from students on Sun) as it's a bit more auto-x style than I'm used to but at least you learned that your car handle more that what you're throwing at it today. Good times...
plus it made for some good video...but ill keep that in the private collection and not post it everywhere

pretty much instantly made me wish i had sacked up and gotten the ultimate ratio when i just did the trans, but it was pretty damn fun once you got the rhythmOriginally Posted by honda-guy

A DE3 E46 I was in was hitting 146-148. A DE2 E36 was around 130 but he had a little more to go... I was impressed with the E46's pull.
i sorta followed the race car rubber trail and put the white boxes in the middle of the car. felt pretty stable and required very little steering input. first session i kept it to about 125ish, next time out i added 10mph. my car was smoother at 135mph on that banking than it feels on the highway.Originally Posted by 4cdndctn
I believe your 153 as I had a passenger on each run, coasted a bunch (didn't use brakes before bank entry), and was up around 150 (1610 EGT fyi). You are lighter alone, plus, no passenger, etc so I can see it.A DE3 E46 I was in was hitting 146-148. A DE2 E36 was around 130 but he had a little more to go... I was impressed with the E46's pull.

Post a still of the closest point behind the NSX before the straight and check if his brake lights were working. That was something else...Originally Posted by killerpenguin21

Dear AiB, doesn't count... chu coming off the curbing.
I've seen it hang the tire a bunch of times without such help, chu just need someone to get a picture of it.

you can search youtube all day finding videos to back you up, but when a car that has half the TQ, close to the same weight & no aero is close to your corning speed when chu have a 15mph advantage down the straight then chu is doing something wrong.
instead of watching youtube videos try typing "how to drive" in the google and read what people say. I'll bet nobody recommends early apexing and turning in mid-track.

just cause it looks similar doesn't mean its fast... actually, if it followed your line then it def wasn't the fastest way around the track.

we were both wrong, he did brake. i watched it frame by frame, and it looks like he screwed the entrance to that little left/right/left or chicane whatever you wanna call it and had to brake dead on the apex of the right hand portion to get it back. he didn't look like he was that out of whack that he was gonna lose it...so i wonder if he even saw us in his mirrors. we had closed on him from 10 car lengths back through 2 turns.Originally Posted by 4cdndctn

I recall brake lights which caused me to turn left as he broke and turned right. I just don't recall them beforehand. Good to know!Originally Posted by killerpenguin21

ill clip the video and put it up in slow mo tonight so you can see the whole thing. im not mad, i puckered a little but i knew jordan had the car control.
part of it is the camera being on wide angle, the other part is that the drivers seat is on lowering brackets while the passenger seat is not.
