GTC battle for second at ALMS B-more was epic.

 

i had to watch ALMS on my phone at work. got bored quickly sitting through the damn clean up. Youd think after 3 years of the same crap at bmore they come up with some better ideas to fix the track.

 

Hahah. After the first ear, I stopped going. lol. Had absolutely no interest last year. THis year, my younger brother went down to watch practice on Friday. I'm looking forward to Petit Le Mans in October though. So sad it may be the last one.

 

yeah i went the first year and sat on the front stretch and just watched chicane carnage all day for 2 days. yo ureally think USCR would drop an event like petit? i think theyd be nuts to do that...

 

It's not that they're going to drop it. It's because its the last ALMS "Petit Le Mans". Who knows what they will rename it to next year. Can't be Petit Le Mans because half the field doesn't qualify as being LM spec. They're also dropping LMP1 next year so that rules out any European LMP1 team returning. Maybe they will call it Petit Daytona... their crown jewel.

 

yeah i thought of that after. just rename it the 10 hours of road atlanta

 

Survey of the week:

you own a daily driver and your evo. you have a 1 car garage and another storage garage 200 miles away. do you:
a) buy a AP1 s2000 for $10kish
b) wait till next summer and trade your daily in on a 2010 s4

 

If (A), do you sell to daily or Evo? Or have three cars?

 

option a = 3 cars. B = s4 and evo.

 

If Option A, how do you choose which car you'll drive? haha

 

Can't street drive evo, not worth it. That's my thing.

 

Damn. Realized that moto gp didn't record on dvr cause Speed TV is no more.

 

i barely take the evo out anymore. between having to make sure the battery is charged and the amount of 5-10 minutes trips i take, its not worth taking the evo. gotta move the subaru, back outta the garage blah blah, plus dont take it out in the rain or to the bar. so basically if im not tuning or going to the track its parked so i might as well put it at my parents house and have another toy to drive when its nice out.

the legacy is a good car...but quite boring to drive.

 

The only Audi I would ever drive is a R8, the rest of the line-up are terrible cars IMO. The have absolutely no soul, just sterile means of transportation. My buddy had an 05 S4 a little over a year ago, he liked it for a about a month then couldn't wait to get rid of it.

 

I had fun driving my friend's B5 S4 Avant. Don't kno what you're talking about Pete. hahah
