On any given weekend, there are more Mazdas on the road-race tracks of America than any other brand of vehicle. At the track, you’ll see MX-5 Miata, RX-8, MAZDA3, MAZDA6, RX-7 and other vintage Mazda models competing, because every Mazda has the Soul of a Sports Car. In fact, the largest road-racing class in the U.S. is the SCCA’s Spec Miata class, with nearly 1,500 first- and second-generation Miatas tearing up America’s racetracks, making it the most-raced production car in the world.
How cute, you believe everything you read on the internet...
SM runs with NASA, in the lightning group. How many SM's you see at NASA events vs. BMW?
Here are race results from a real event, not some manufactures marketing hype:

3 SM's and 11 BMW. Thats just one example.
edit:
here are results from WGI, the biggest NASA NE event:

6 SM and 18 SE30. That doesn't even include the gts guys.

Tim, this IS how we get along.
Results don't lie. you can believe any sales claims you want, I believe in facts.
I'm watching some show on Velocity which they are highlighting some program from Virginia Tech that allows blind people to drive by being cued for steering, braking and accelerating by vibrations on certain parts of their bodies. People who can see and hear can barely drive.

^ and what's responsible for the cued? if the computer is doing the cuing, why can't computer just steer the car like the google car that drive itself.
most of the luxury car can park itself, so it can already control throttle, brake and steering.

Thai, to answer your question about cueing, the driver wears gloves that have vibrating motors on each finger and when they are told to turn there will be a vibration on the top finger and work its way down to your pinky to increase steering angle. For accelerating there is a vibrating pad in the seat back that vibrates to make you accelerate more and more. And braking was controlled by a pad under your *** and legs. The people testing it on a race track looked like they were moving at 25mph so obvious it isn't a very usable system.
