if that loud mouth fu(ker was faster than me, why is his lap time 6 seconds slower when he's only 12 mph slower than me on the straights, and 3 class lower than me. heck, scott was 14 mph faster than me at lightning and we're in the same class and i manage the same time as him. if i was on my cheater hoho like he was, i'd be 10 seconds up on that b!tchass.
You have more TQ, HP, better aero and better tires. On a power track like Pocono I would expect there to be a much bigger difference in our times.
btw, i was only 5 seconds slower than you, not 6

Aero on that track is a disadvantage. I was consider taking the areo off. Tim gained 5 mph faster by just adjusting his rear wing, didnt even take it off. Id probable hit 160 mph if i took the aero off and reaise the rev limit. The infield corners are too slow for aero advantage. It don't mater if I'm 5 seconds or 6 seconds faster, faster is faster.

Spent Monday on PoNo with the Del-Val Miata Club (Ron was there)...instructing a guy in an 86 911...I was a little scared at first since he had a bone stock car, but he handled it really well. Awesome to see him out there flogging that old bitty.
My best lap...a 1:03.10 (last year I ran a 1:04.77--though the infield is smoother and wider now). I am still dialing in my new suspension, but some tweaks made between shession 2 and 3 made a huge difference (shession 2's best lap was a 1:04.10).

I might actually go back there with BMW-CCA in the fall...still not sure though.
