PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
@ Roberts gif.Weekend was a lot of fun, really enjoyed it. That shession Marc was talking about where we were tearing ish up was probably one of the best I've ever had... even though Marc wouldn't give me the point.
I should have been filming that ish!Car feels good on coils, much better than before, I definitely have more grip. Still feel like I was abusing the front tires in some corners, but I think thats just the way the nose heavy Evo is gonna feel.
Also, glad my student didn't kill me. I was worried with a wet track and a greenie driving a 540hp Viper.
vid of that shession would have been nice. I have it from my perspective, but doesn't really help you out being behind meh. Other than that I didn't really take much video this weekend, not sure why.
driving home last night I came to the realization that I'm not really going to get any faster around TB with the car in its current configuration. My times were all pretty consistant. 1:38-1:39 solo and 1:40-1:41 with a passenger. There might be another .2-.4 on an ideal lap, but I def don't have seconds out there. Its kinda better sweet in a way because I can't really do anymore mods to the car until next year when I move to TTC.
My view of that shession would have been best since I was caboose in the train.
My Harry's or TomTom wouldn't work since I updated my iPod, I have to download the Apps again.
I shot video of our 2nd shession yesterday, and tried to shot the 3rd but ran out of memory.

That was a lot of fun running in the same group with your guys. It was a good experience to see some of what I can expect in a more experienced group.
Pete, I need to do some adjustments on mine also. Did you try different settings to see how the car reacts?

Too bad Marc didn't have camera rolling to show my save, and then off a short moment later. I was fast, but the track wasn't there.

Sounds like it was a PCD Domination weekend: Thai dominated NARRA (what happened to you , Marc?), Aaron and Mike dominated Street Mod at DC Pro (don't know how the shootout turned out), and I dominated shopping at IKEA with my wife.
IKEA FTW.
I dominated the blue rwd udm class this weekend. aka - I don't have a car setup to run in even NARRA's slowest TT class. although, i probably could have taken second behind thai in my car if I had slicks with my. My street tire times were very close to 2nd place on Saturday, not Sunday though.

. Will have a new, top secret suspension set up (so if anyone wants a year-old KW V3 with Vorschlag plates for an E36 M3....let me know) and Rivals, though not likely to have either for TrackDaze.
Chu, on Sunday I set all 4 corners to full-hard which is probably what I want for a dry track anyways. I think the softer setting was the way to go for the wet on Saturday. Hard to tell a difference since the track so much different on Sunday.
Marc was busy not giving point-bys and dominating turn 3 while the rest of us were running the chicane.

What suspension did you get?
I don't think IKEA ever has sales...at least never that I've seen.
Gotcha. You are 39-41 with chicane? I was turning 41-42 last Tuesday with NJ BMW-CCA....and was disappointed I couldn't get in to the 39s, which I was able to do earlier in the year....I think the ZIIs are starting to fall off

Looking forward to seeing teh top secret sushpenshion setup in a couple weeks.
