PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
thats pretty cool how you can look at all the track data like that with trackmasters. I need to see if there is something better out there for the Iphone or maybe look into something stand-alone. I am getting frustrated with my Harry's. Its calibrated correctly now so my track maps, g-forces and speeds are correct, but its not clicking off laps. If I do video I get one long video the lenght of the shession or if I just do lap timers it will click laps off but there is no video.
^Data is better with Trackmaster because of the ability to use external GPS to get better sample rates. I use the same GPS logger as Thai, and we get 5hz instead of 1hz like most internal GPS have. I had the same issues with my Trackmaster before though, where it wouldn't start/stop the logs, or the laps get all messed up.
I'm with you Marc....Harry's was great when all we wanted was a time and a decent video...but I want actual data now. That said, when the the new VBOX Sport comes to market, it might do what I want while working with Harry's...I am trying to become a VBOX dealer too.
wtf, chu can't text as homie back?

Thats why I don't update my iOS, that ish be all effed up.
Time to update your sig, btw.
What pads should I run at WGI next week?
PF01 or ST43? Looks like the torque is similar but the PF's have a high heat range.
I'll be doing all my car maintenance this weekend coming up... New brake fluid, rotors, fresh oil, then tires, and an alignment next week.

Are you setting your check point manual with satellite map or using the default check point. I know you have an external 10hz GPS sensor, so it should be accurate. I export my trackmaster data and combine it with video using Racerender. It takes more work but it comes out better. I do like that Harry's incorporate odb2 data into the timer and video. Hope trackmaster will have that feature soon. I'd like to log boost, rpm and throttle also.
The Torque app for android can log odb2 data with video but I'm not sure it will log GPS and laps also. And I don't know if I can export data so I can merge them into other video on racerender.
Alignment is the last thing on my list to get ready for WGI. starting to get pretty excited.
^Nice. Run the PF01 so we could hear your feedback on them!
Taking my car to get alignment done today. Got nothing car-related done over the weekend as I had hoped.

I ran st43 all weekend. Only 4-5 hot laps per shession. Hardly saw any ware on the pads. They were used pads I stole from Chu at the glen last year. They had enough torque for the hoho but pedal got soft after 3 hot laps. I still have old amsoil brake fluid from last year in there though. Gonna flush and put srf fluid in before glen. Gonna run st43 for de from now on.
