The red RX-8 should be welcome back in TT. The 2 younger guys will be welcome back; the black Civic in DE3 and the black X in DE2. The grey IX is banned. The other guys might be allowed in DE1 if they can idle their cars for 5 minutes without fluids spewing. Next time I see those guys, I'm going to have Greg do a 200 point inspection on their cars; try meh. Families will not be allowed to make a handball nor hopscotch court in an active paddock on a race day.

We can thank our friends at another governing body who will present anyone with a TT license that pays the $35 membership fee and shows up for a day. Going forward, we will not accept that club's license as access into TT. We'll set up a P&P and may have to revise CCR --- fun!

Favorite quote from that group...
Me: We're going to move you to DE3/4
Guy: "I'm more comfortable in TT. The guys in DE3/4 look really fast"

I understand that. I felt way more comfortable driving Tbolt during the Rolex race than I did in green group at PCA HPDE.

Jordan, I'm sure you already know dis and its why he was banned from NASA, but that guy in the grey evo was passing people without point-bys like it was a race. He dive bombed my DE1 guy into turn one! I saw him coming in the mirror and told him to check his mirrors cause it looks like the guy is going to pass him without a point-by. Sure enough he did just that. Thankfully my student didn't turn in at his usual spot or it would have been a T-bone on my side.

This is why DE ain't a game!

BTW, nice work doing that cleanup after all the issues were presented. I just wish I could have overheard some of the conversations... I'm sure they were good.

Thanks to the likes of GoPro and apparently now, Polaroid, it's hard to hide the facts. I was out in the black Vette that session (future TT'er btw) and he passed us on the outside of 5 and I saw my student's blood pressure rise as this was after 4 full laps behind the maroon RX-8. When I got out of the car, 3 Instructors had texted me about the hazard (that's multi-tasking!). He had excuses, they weren't tolerated, he's done.
Now the BMW in day 1 session 2, was a different story. He is banned from NASA for life. That includes his racing "Career" --- it's over.
The Instructors did an awesome job. I'm going to have to debrief to find out why the flaggers tolerated some of the activity. NJMP flagging seems to be very hit or miss; it's not a club thing, it's a track thing.

We are happy to give SCCA and EMRA their "Drivers" back.

Jordan, I'm looking to do TT in the future. Will you take my PA driver's license and GTA TT license for consideration?

No, but I know 2 clubs that would! We're going to implement a check out ride process, we just have to figure out the logistics. This was seldom an issue before, but we are seeing a change in the quality of the references we are receiving. This goes for racing, TT, Instructing and DE group now. Fun fun.

...I don't have many Evom points.

Jordan, I thought NASA always did check out ride prior to getting TT license, even if someone is licensed by another club? I know even going to the upper groups for DE, I would always ask an instructor to ride with me to make sure I am in fact ready for that group. I think you guys (PCD trackwhores) have instilled all the safety standards in me. Its awful to hear some of these stories, ad the potential hazzard they are.

We'll consider EvoM daily activity ratings above 99.6% because it suggests a troll who must know how to drive. It also must mean they are .1% faster than Thai who is only at 99.5%.

And with activity of 76%, you certainly don't know how to drive. Look at me, I'm at < 2%.

It's timeless if you were there for that conversation which is historically relatively accurate.
