They have a height bar at the registration desk. If you are 5' or shorter, then you don't need a TT license to compete. I didn't wear my high heels that day, so I got through.

NASA @ WATKINS GLEN next week

I just checked registration... There will be an INSANE amount of track time next week at the Glen. We will probably rotate 3 groups both days because registration is low (Mon/Tues reg is always lacking).
DE1/2: ~23 combined
DE3/4: ~22 combined

For those of you looking to earn your way up in the ranks, there is no better way to do it then at the Glen with more time than you'll know what do with. Bring gas $$!!!

Instructor reg is closed until there are more DE1/2 registrants.

chu - From what I have read it seems like that is the first step. drop the headliner, make sure everything is good to go, and make sure the screw(s) holding the motor arent loose, which should be a non issue because the motor is working its just off track on the passenger side.

I have been working late so havent had the time. Fortunately my roommate has been letting me borrow his beater e36 convi M3 which is great for commuting. I'll have to post up teaser pics when I get a chance....4 door e36 M3 with LQ motor swap in the works.... for now just prepping the trailer for summit.

Thai - Forgot to mention that on top of jet skis there is a boat, fishing bbq, and 2 NSX's we will be driving (1 SC) and one track car. more than welcome to join. i lost most of my numbers with a new phone so get at me.

PS: Dan I miss you.

Jordan, I thought NASA always did check out ride prior to getting TT license, even if someone is licensed by another club? I know even going to the upper groups for DE, I would always ask an instructor to ride with me to make sure I am in fact ready for that group. I think you guys (PCD trackwhores) have instilled all the safety standards in me. Its awful to hear some of these stories, ad the potential hazzard they are.
GVC does an A-Solo check off ride at every event from what I understand. I know I'll have one next weekend.

A few of us are already going next weekend with BMW CCA... Just curious, what does that event cost for DE?

Depends on your level. What makes this event unique is the low registration count lending itself to extraordinary track time. https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/1629
Even if reg doubled, count would be low enough for a crazy amount of track time.

yeah, they did messed up the schedule. there was supposed to be a worker's break before the TT shession but they skipped it. if chu didn't park in pumbfu(k, chu'd hear the announcement.

since chu new to TT and don't know all the rules and Jake wasn't there to enforce them. here's a heads up. if you come up to grid after they already let the cars out, they will hold you for 5 minutes to let the cars on track get a few clean laps in before you pull out and fock err one's hot lap up. you saw fast cars coming down the front straight and still pull out the pit. you could have sped up and pull over before turn 5. you know the front guys running on hoho are only out there for 3 laps or so, you have the rest of the session to put in your fast lap. consider yourself schooled. not a game son

Listen up honda-grl, next time I see you in my rearview instead of being nice and letting you by imma str8 block the awd hoosier TT line in my RWD street tire car. That way you can get another couple laps in to warm up chru hohos and have less excuses when chu come in second.

yeah...EMRA has gone down the drain in the short time ive been running with them (im sure your dad can also tell you about it). they let some real idiots drive, but unfortunately there schedule seems to always line up the best with mine.

i would not classify a lot of their regulars as "drivers"

i agree. i like you guys since i have a very similar mentality to all of you...not the *** hats i keep meeting who think they are wheel men from commuting to work everyday.

This is why DE ain't a game!

BTW, nice work doing that cleanup after all the issues were presented. I just wish I could have overheard some of the conversations... I'm sure they were good.
