I know.....

I have all kinds of messages from people and have shown it to 1 person.

Part of me wants to clean it up and have a bidding war.

Part of me wants to unload it quick and forget about it.

and the rest of me wants to learn how to kick myself in the *****, because I will probably be doing that for the rest of my life if I sell it

 

Maybe you should just get a new battery. My car can sit for weeks and not have battery issues. Yours is probably showing signs of age.

By the way, can't you brick your ecu if you lose power while flashing?

Nate is likely running a mini-battery, which cant' sit as long as a full size battery. Also, for flashing, if there's not enough power, it just gives you an error from what I know. I've experienced it in my car and Jim's. Never heard of bricking the Ecu from low power.

Speaking of low voltage. My car sat for a few months when it blew to when I started the car and the battery didn't have issues. Then again, it was disconnected, so nothing was drawing power.

 

I have a PC680 in the bimmer and keep it on the float charger cause I don't want to have to deal with a dead battery.

When I had a PC680 in my evo it lasted for 4 years cause it was a DD.

 

Just to free up some cash, maybe build a pole barn

It was a spur of the moment thing, saw a WTB add, posted in it. (hadn't driven the evo in months) Now that I have the car back out on the road again pole barns and cash don't seem all that important.

 

I bought my PC680 used, and had it for 3 years before it decided to take a dump last winter. Dont know how old the kit was, but it lasted pretty long for me. THe DEKA has been really good though...400CCA and small enough to still retain the short uicp. Now, its in the trunk...BOOM

its the etx14 i believe? the smaller one. its never failed to start the car, but it was apparently below 12 volts if it couldnt flash.

now i have to figure out why loading tephra gave me a EGR CEL when i have a functioning egr...

FYI, pocono long is a FAST fu(king track. I hit 159 there back when I had my z06 and I was driving like a little honda-grl.
