we can talk about whatever you want babygirl...

I actually spoke with one of Justin's buddies the other day who runs a two car lemons/chump team. He gave me a little advice that seems to make sense.

Basically he said if you try and make errthing equal when you have people all spread out like we do it won't work well. What it comes down to is that you need chiefs and Indians. The chiefs are the ones who do the majority of the work and are responsible for the car. They trade their time and money invested for seat time. Indians do what they can, but for seat time they have to pay to make up the difference between what they do and what it costs to run the car.

He also said that he suggest you rear the rules of each club as they events are run much different. One is geared more towards doing some laps and being social while the other is geared more towards actual racing. I prefer the latter...

I could see he was gonna drop two before he even got to the apex. Not to play Monday morning QB, but i don't know why he didn't just ride it out instead of trying to keep it on track... seems like he stayed in the gas to try and save it, which caused a tank slapper that he couldn't recover from.

So Marc voted for Chump...and James voted for Lemons.

The rules aren't so incongruous that you can't build one car to run both...the trade off is a front running car at Chump will get penalty laps at Lemons...and an honest Lemons build (there aren't many of those) will be out-paced at Chump.

We expect our E36 powered E30 will get laps at Lemons and we know our E36 will too. But they were both T10 cars at Chump. The E30 is going to Shenandoah for the Hyperfest weekend Lemons race (you loons that are going to that debacle should venture into the Lemons paddock and say hi to my teammates and watch the circus). We are currently debating whether we want to go and race at VIR with Chump or play with Lemons at NJMP in mid-August (both are the same weekend)...there are pros and cons to both (lower cost being the biggest pro to the Lemons NJMP event).
