You retarded or something. All parts are balanced to zero separately, and then balanced together. When/if if need a new flywheel, it would already be balanced to zero.

So if you balance them separately then why bolt them together to balance again. 0 + 0 = 0, math ownz chu.

Wait! So you have to pull the crank to replace the clutch and flywheel?

Sounds like a bit much.

weight of components changes parasite drag values to determine precise breaking clearances for an aligned-honed crank setup

When I replace my brake pads, I like to move the struts, axles, calipers and wheel hubs then get a freshly fresh alignment.

Then chu need to balance all rotating components together including rods, pistons, crank pully, accesory like ac pump and power steering and alternator. They're all conected to the crank

Greetings

I've finally scared away the Gremlins and have the RS up and running. It's running very well actually. I'm likely going to sell the car. I'm not as enamoured with it as I once was, and the prospect of doing AutoX and Track days doesn't appear to be in my foreseeable future. Driving the car back and forth to work seems like a waste. If it happens I will most certainly get another less than practical car to take it's place, albeit one that is more comfortable driving around in traffic. Possibly something German with a V8.

If anyone knows anyone looking for a clean RS, feel free to send them my way.

On a side note, a flatbed damaged my front bumper and lip a few weeks ago. The shop is replacing them both, and I will have a spare front end that is still very serviceable. The damage isn't terrible, and I suspect that if you removed and re-installed the lip you would have a very decent front end. With a little paint and a few fasteners it may even come out looking pretty damn good. When I swap out the bumpers I'm going to put up a F/S add with pictures and such, but LMK if anyone wants it. Perhaps someone would like a front end that they can dedicate to motorsports and add all sorts of diffusers, canards, etc?

Also, I may put the stock struts/springs back on the car making the my Bilstein HD/Swift Spec R setup available.

Lastly, the dead hooker smell is COMPLETELY gone, that is no longer a concern.

That flywheel will never spin by being bolted like that.
