Just gotta figure out when we all going to FF6, don't forget.

Read about that, the floor buckled a bit and the driver's seat actually moved out of place - that's scary but they are supposed to fix that for the next build plus other modifications.

AngryAZN haz a cage, maybe he know.
narra at Thunderbolt is June 8-9.

i dont have a cage. i have a 6 point roll bar with drag racing style side bar.

its bolt in, but feet get welded to the car. FIA homologated. looks like stable energies in NJ is the sole US dealer too, and i know those guys. price looks to be in the 1000-1200 range USD.
that looks decent but i would definitely weld extra plates to the car before bolting it in. also the front looks tight with getting in and out.

either way the the safety devices piece looks to have more triangulation which would help in the case of a side impact like that more than the autopower i think.
I saw that bar in the rear and the boxes, apparently there is better strength across the box's three-plates rather than a traditional single plate. With that type of design I'm still wondering what was going on with the seat moving, and then what will be done to keep the seat in place the next go around.

you can see it better here, it comes with boxed mounts that get welded to the floor which the cage then bolts to. ton of UK guys on register are running it. company makes weld in WRC style cage kits too.

im curious what the definitive purpose of a floor bar is. i would think the upper structure of the cage would keep the car from buckling on side impact...

i also like the way this one has bars that run from the main hoop to the rear legs and between the rear legs which the autopower does not.

this is two evo wrecks now that the seat has ripped out of the floor pan (the evo dynamics pikes peak car did the same)

^ and both driver walked away. maybe the seat being ripped off helped absorb some impact. i know oem honda seat back are design to break on one side in rear impact to help absorb energy.

Bench is forcing me to go lower, had to drop some weight to be able to handle the movement, no ego here just want to have correct form..

Deadlift is hovering at 205 for set of 8. I basically warm up with 135, then move to 185. I do 185 for 2 sets of 8 and then 205 for 2 sets of 8. I am trying not to roll back or anything, trying to keep good form, chest out back straight no rounding. I do bent over rows after that and seated rows but I think that is to much. I really like working out back, but the night and day after that low back is sore. Need to change up my routine soon, been doing the same thing forever. Why I stick with same routine is its actually 2 routines combined, so each week it changes so I am not repeating same exercises.

Who else on here works out besides James, Chu, Pete and me? Well I am talking to you guys because no one else gives a crap.
Legs...my favorite. Form is your foremost concern. Drive with the heals, and don't let it lift. When I do heavier lifts, I look up instead of straight. It helps me maintain form, keeps my chest up, and all the focus on my legs to drive the lift. I follow squats with leg presses and then jumping squats to end the workout. My goal is 275lb squats in 2-3 weeks, and 650lbs on the leg press. I'm at 250lb and 580lb now, which is weakass! Key is a good spotter...they can be motivating.

Did legs last night. Felt like I needed a wheelchair when we were done.

They were seperate days. I usually just focus on one muscle group, then switch to cardio. I think it was the combination of the two that's the cause.

Try switching up the rotation of your exercises as well. I've found that helps me.

Happy Friday, bishes!

I don't have a set schedule anymore. I do whatever body part that no one else is doing at the gym, so I don't have to wait for weights or machines. I fill in the rest of the week based on how I'm feeling, and if I need rest. I also reverse my routine ever few weeks, and change the exercises for warm-up vs. go heavy. Tonight is chest; warmup and light on the barbell press, heavy on the dumbell presses. And so on.

By the way, I started my first yoga class yesterday. Its a 6 week program here at work for 35 bucks...me and 10 other ladies. Some hot, some not. BOOM.

I'd rather discuss about morning commut than lifting. At least its car related.

So drove the evo to work this morning, I was sitting at a red light and theres a lotus Elise sitting diagonal from me. His light turned green and he guns it from the light while making a turn (i guess to show off) , i was waiting for him wipe out.

I saw a ton of nice and moderately nice cars this morning on my commute this morning. It was sad they sat in traffic while my train cruised on by. Then I thought of how I dominated legs the night before. As I smirked at the thought, the train arrives at my station. I am on time for work!

The girl I'm seeing teaches yoga a few nights a week and on the weekends. She also keeps asking when her ride along video is going to be available for viewing, Mr. Cantor...?
