Saw F&F6 tonight. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Love how they tied everything together, even though it was a little corny...but that's just how Fast and the Furious has to be, haha.

 

i just saw it too. i thought it was a pretty decent movie...but yes corny as usual although not terrible (shifting the gtr multiple times in the opening sen via the automatic lever not paddles).

What amsoil brake fluid issue did you have?

 

I didnt have any issues but they were testing brake fluid for conductivity to see how much moisture was present and Carson's car failed. We did a quick flush with fresh fluid and when they tested it again it failed again. There seems to be something in the fluid that is conductive.

I've been using the amsoil stuff for a while now and while its aight I'd like to try something different.

 

retard money, chu could have gotten two 1L bottles of Castrol SRF for that much. no issues at all when i ran the pads down to 1mm at Glen. i've talked to racers who said they only flush once a year with SRF. 550 wet boiling point boich. if its good enough for F1 cars, then it's good enough for my car. chu needs to turn up your brake fluid son.

 

i could make that for half the price and custom size to my need. just saying.

Are you talking about tech at the glen? They tested mine, which was amsoil, and it was fine. Robert passed too on his old amsoil. It was old enough for him to lose his brakes in one session.

Maybe GTR's don't like amsoil.

 

*** yo couch, ninja! I have enough brake fluid to last me probably 4 years, thats doing a full flush with 3 bottles of fluid per year. I did a full flush in April before the NASA event. I'm going to do a bleed with one bottle before I go back to Pocono in July and then again in September before WGI. To meh its not a badge of honor to say I only flush once per year, not worth it to try and push it when it comes to a $10 bottle of fluid.

I think it was the fluid. We just flushed that ish 5 min before it got tested and failed... why would it be his car?

 

I think its bmw thing also. Some dude with bmw said he failed with fresh fluids also.
