Just dropped of the civic at the honda to get Honda gasket replaced this morning. This is the first time I've ever gotten a shop to work on my car. I finally got around to looking at it last week. Got as far as removing the intake filter, then I saw how the intake manifold has to come off and I was like hellz no. These cab forward design cars are getting ridiculous to work on. I don't have the time or patient to work on them. I'll gladly pay $1500 for the job and warranty on the work. The head will probably need milled also since it ran without collant for a bit.

/end commute rant

Thai, why did the head gasket go in the civic? Is it a common failure or did something else cause it?

Dont know why the head gasket went. I've had over 10 modify Honda and this is the first time it happened and on a totally stock car.

Grillo, we've been using the crv to commute to work. I take the evo occasionally.

Nick isn't sure if he can make this. The z06 has a slight oil leak at the front main seal and his new vette needs to be prepped. Knowing him he'll get it all down, but it will be down to the wire.

Anyone want to change the coolant in my rolla? I just reviewed its service history from when it was my wife's car and realized the coolant is 10 years old with 170k miles on it.
