It was rambling about insurance companies.

The relevant things were that I was saying the only useful things of the obdII thing would be vehicle and engine speed and tps. They can't use fuel trims, intake temps, knock counts etc for anything.

I then was rambling about Obamacare and how we all will have to start having regular health screenings to determine our employer subsidized health insurance premiums. They already started it at my work.

We used to not have to pay for health benefits. Then 7 years ago they started making us pay 1% of our pay check. But if you take a health screen, they you only have to pay half that. they kept increasing each year and its up to 3% now, but if you take health screen, then its only 1.5%.

You can do it online or call in, and you can just bs your numbers, its pointless anyways.

Our health screens are logged by HR. it's weight, height, BMI and probably blood pressure and cholesterol.

We have to make health goals. Unless I have BP or cholesterol, I don't know what my goals would be.

As long as you wear a wig, I don't like chics with short hair.

We just tell them our numbers, they don't actually watch us get on the scale or measure our body fat. and we have to tell them our goals.

If you're in good health, what's there to be so afraid of? If I'm healthy, I damn well should pay less than the fatass next to me eating a cheese burger and complaining about how she doesn't lose weight no matter what she does. I don't know how they approach all the calculations and whatnot, but thats not what I'm trying to debate.

well i'm healthy, normal BP and cholesterol however due to my weight I am morbidly obese and would hurt my ratings.

I know in my life insurance policy the nurse had to write up a formal letter stating my BMI was attributed to my "healthy" lifestyle to help lower my premiums.

^ what if they make azn pay more because they are more susceptible to certain health risks. So it goes beyond body mass index and blood work.

Subtle the girl next to me is a fatass post.

The same thing should apply to smokers, IMO. Why I gotta pay more because they smoke?

No, she totally is, but she doesn't sit next to me. She's an assistant in my unit. Nice girl, but she has an eating problem.
