PCD: 2013-2014 Till We Break It Edition
Seriously the tire places with their rules on doing alignments is a joke. Right off the bat, if they won't do your car to the specs you want then there is a problem and you should not let them touch car. Just Tires by me will do whatever you want, granted the alignment guys are fellow autoxers.
Thai 3.7 is a lot of camber even for R compounds. Don't you think you are sacrificing braking performance and maybe some speed with that agressive of a camber setting?.. Educate me please

I know i see the Philly SCCA Van there and the black miata back in the day when i was going there often.
Make sure you have an idea what settings you want on car, I am not sure they really know how to make the Evo's handle well, they can just DO whatever you tell them too.

I wanted 3.5° on driver front but i didnt want to hassel them with .2° and they messing with it all day. I usually adjust my camber at the track base on tire wear and heat across the tires. With the curent amount of front camber, my tires are wearing evenly and tire temps are even from side to side. I probable give up a little in braking but i spend more time i corners than in braking zone. Probably gain straight line top speed because of less contact patch on the ground and less resistence.
F1 cars run 3-4° camber. If it good enough for them with 4g latteral and braking grip, then its good enough for me. Besides, PROs don't use brakes son.

I set my car up to dominate TT on A6 son, don't get it twisted. I run less camber for street tires when I'm just messaging around.
I need more caster though. Will probably get perrin prsr down the road. The top hat caster probably onlyadded 1-1.5°

That is the place, tell them Fineberg sent you. Make sure you have Pat or PEte do the alignment, one or the other is usually there. Pat has done my Evo a few times, but in the end I prefer doing the alignments myself. I have had better results using basic equipment and taking my time. They have a nice Hunter Rack there, I am just weird I guess.

Oh yeah right, GTR LOL
Speaking of GTR's I instructed this dude in a nice brand new one. Very nice ride, power on demand, thing is grip tastic. That said you could feel its weight in some elements on course. I did not drive the car, but rode with him twice. I think he is going to come back seemed to like Autox. I was actually surprised for a guy new to autox he drove that powerful beast pretty good.

i'm seeing at least 2 dead on my findings, and 10 amputees.
