at least i feel a little better about it now. i put the rc5's in today and am driving around with the ducting on to keep em cold to see if it cleans up at all. i dont know of any place locally to get rotors turned.

trans is on amsoil changed within the last 500 miles. im thinking the clutch is just done being at 60k miles...previous owner could have launched it or something.

im nervous to screw the rod in any more, its very far in. you're running a comp clutch aren't you? id love to get the carbonetic pro blade and push conversion...but after reading the praises lucas english gave the comp unsprung stage 2, maybe i should just do that. can buy it/have it installed for less than the cost of the carbonetic.

"I'll buy your whole family" - Now that's a warning not just any sports car owner is allowed to say.

Nate, congrats on the win. I assume this was LRP. Jordan and his pops own that track from that I've heard. Too bad about his motor.

I've had really bad deposits twice before. Both times it was because I wasn't getting enough heat in the pads (braking in the rain) and both times it was with carbotech rotors. the only thing that fixed them was getting the rotors taken down a few 1000th.

you mean out? you want to extend the rod to get more pedal travel. You want to rotate the rod clockwise.

yeah it was LRP, did i mention i won by default because the only other car in my class got protested for R comps and bumped up? LOL thanks tho. car definitely has time left in it between the shifting issue/brakes and i didn't change the suspension settings at all. next time out to LRP i will probably debut the splitter.

im starting to wonder if i created the deposits at CTD, since i ran the dtc's then too.

and yeah i meant screw the rod into the firewall.

Jeff ran a 1:02.xx while blowing up. hes nuts, he was in a group with race prepped/aero'd corvettes....and passing them 3 at a time down the front stretch. luckily EFI logics was there with a race sti, and helped check out and find the problem so he didn't go back out.

also, i think there should be a PCD LRP domination event, and everyone should show up to an EMRA event and dominate tuner modified class.

I hear LRP is fun, and it is a track on my 'to-do' list, but its mad far from me. Once I've done all the other tracks within a decent driving distance I'll do LRP... with all these new tracks opening in the next few years that might be a while.

Oh, Marc knows very well about standing on the podium by himself.

ouch, can we get some ointment for that burn?

my time woulda been top 4 in the next up class. Jeff blew away the class by 2 seconds, 2-5 place were in the 1:04 to 1:06 range.

I was pissed they split the run groups, 3 in am, 3 in pm and let it be known. I hate when they do that ish, such a waste of time IMO. So I only did 3 runs and left. Pretty sure I left a decent amount of time out on course. Still finished 17 in PAX, and 12 in raw time.

Congrats to Aaron on another PAX nguyen!

Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye, the kid carts were getting ready to run and I didn't want to get stuck. What time did you guys finish up?

Do you just want to see it because you were the chase car for the filming of the movie?
