Not sure, but I need to decide soon. Weather and no other better venue for alternative Autox Events on Sunday will determine my decision.

Railgun. BOOM.

They say they are 5 or 10 years off for it putting into use on ships and maybe tank or artillery. Better than 'laser' for big targets but still makes the same demands for power and you need ammo but without explosive material.

Still considered a gun because it fires a projectile. although the projectile speed of the rail gun is many times faster than conventional gun, its still not light speed of a laser. No reloading time with laser and it can shoot a beam with duration.

Laser sucks *** for large targets and it demands a lot of power. Be better for a replacement for Phalanx system for ship or city defense. Railgun range is out about 200 miles with a projectile speed at about 5,000 mph that means about 2 and half minutes to lay down the law. That changes the game.

Yikes!

"four high-strength carbon fibre tanks holding 3.5kg of hydrogen each, stored at a pressure of 350bar."

No need for NOS tanks yo, I got high pressure hyrdo tanks at 5000 psi.

My one guy turned 71 today I surprised him with cake at lunch. Figured it was a nice thing to do since it will be his last bday here, he plans on retiring this year.
