Hmm, I think I may.

Do you still have E30 wheels and tires? Do you have any other old E30 parts?

I sold the wheels and tires and gave the rear diff away. I have some e30 parts laying around still, but I doubt its anything that will be of use to you...

FYI, that car will not use hardly ANY consumables on track. Figure a full tank of gas for the full two days and maybe a couple mm of brake pad. All I would do is fresh brake fluid and change the oil if it hasn't been done in the last 3k. Done.

As it happens, the car needs front pads soon. Do you think it's worthwhile to get something more aggressive for that car that isn't necessarily a dedicated track pad?

IMO it would depend on what tires are you running. I would ask our resident e30 expert oneday that question...

Since I don't know anything about your driving style or what's done to the car....a bone stock E30 on a summer tires will probably fair pretty well with Hawk HP+ or StopTech Performance pads if you are relatively nice to the middle pedal. Lightning doesn't need much braking (T1 and T7 are the only places you need lots of brakes).

^ Nope. They're pretty non-responsive. I shouldn't say 'they' cause its really just one guy.

Chu way wrong! That's why they have test strips to TEST the coolant.

I done told chu TT ain't a game.
So chur sayin he has a stock evo 9 basically. stock vette + ZO6 motor=ZO6 class. Chu need to learn to read engrish then chu will understand them rules better.

oh really, what does the test strip test for? antifreeze is to prevent water from freezing and some corrosion, nothing more. if your coolant aint freezing why replace it. the test strips are probably made by the same company that makes to antifreeze to trick retard monkey like you to replace antifreeze every year.

so when you replace the antifreeze, does it make your car run cooler? remove rust from the coolant passage? prevent coolant from freezing at lower temps?

the rules says stock turbo. what part of stock don't chu understand? putting high compression z06 pistons in a regular vette doesn't make it a stock motor.

Actually they test the PH levels, which is the acidity, and how well they can dissipitate heat. Antifreeze doesn't remove rust but it can definitely make rust, BTW antifreeze is also a lubricant for the water pump. That ish is slippery which you should know from the track retardmonkey!

oh, so i guess race cars don't know much about antifreeze and lubrication cause they only run water.

btw, my 1999 crv still has the original coolant in it. coolant is still green and clear, not brown. my car doesn't over heat, coolant doesn't freeze. don't need to use test strips on it, or pay for new coolant or find a place to dispose it cause autozone doesn't take it like they do with used oil.

They run water because it cools better than antifreeze son, you knew that already right?
