You mean the PF01's? I guess... not having much brake isn't the most comfortable feeling on a high speed track.

Thoughts?
install the PFC's but bring xp10 and DTC60 with. I don't think you're going to want to use the XP10 at Pocono, but you never know. the PFC's should be great, but if you get deposits built up you can always put the dtc60's in to clean the rotors up.

How much would chu think it would cost to put that back on the road?

They already stripped it for track car use.

Pete, for a track day car, it would be a good deal. Pretty much everything is there.

Looks like you'll need:

Intercooler
Intake
Exhaust from DP and back
Front bumper
Seats
Wheels
Shiftknob

Maybe they'll throw in the matching jackstands.

Couple of concerning thing would be that they are moving it around the yard with a front end loader, the harness that is unplugged underneath and the low power steering fluid. Looks like the AYC/ACD pump and lines are untouched.

Probbably another 4-5k imo, unless you go buy nice stuff. But many of the parts missing I can see from the pics can be purchased of the used section for a decent price.

I'd be more concern about the condition of the engine and drive train. Err thing else is pretty cheap and would be repalced anyways. Also depends if chu wanna make it street legal and needs to pass inspection.

^ That.

I don't plan on buying it, but its something to talk about while I'm stuck here at work.. I think the car could be put back to together relatively cheap like you said, Chu. I wouldn't want to pay $13k for it, maybe $11.5k, but $10k would be ideal.

$10k would make it ideal. Get some sparco seat and some used parts in the for sale section. The biggest expense would be seats and front bumper. If you'd want to get it fully put back together, you'd just have to stalk crash X part out threads.

Also it doesn't appear to be modified so motor is probably in good condition unless thrives took the time to **** up the motor while stripping it.

I really don't think it would be hard to do. I'm sure it was modded before, that Evolution X badge on a truck is a tell tail sign of a ricers car. Probably why they stole the exhaust.

It probably had intake and exhaust mods at most. The fmic was probably stock unless since he still has OEM ic pipes. It's barely modded I should say.

Buying a salvage title to turn into a track car is a great idea. I'm with you on that Peter.
