Everyone of theses school shooters was on meds, a social outcast, and at the end of their teen years when mental illness usually presents itself. We just need to focus our energy in the right direction

Agreed. No species on this planet is a crue as humans are. And we think we're so civilized...

Correct. The crap that some people promote and pass on as facts is amazing...especially those that think they are helping their cause. You are hurting yourself by looking and acting like an extremist.

So we should just throw our hands in the air and give up? Or we could maybe make some concessions on either side of the table in the name of progress....realize that as smart as our founding fathers may have been, that they did not have a crystal ball, which is why they made the Constitution a living document that can be amended and improved.

I loathe the extremists on both side that dig their heels in and cling to their "virtues" and refuse to discuss moderation; better retail controls, background checks, and waiting periods in lieu of outright bannishment or gun-for-all.

And your wife was home all day cleaning the house and making dinner and babies and you could tell her to "make me a sandwich" anytime day or night and either she did it or you went to your mistress's house and had her make one for you.

I ain't against longer waiting period or background check (I'm already doing that now when I buy guns at retail stores), but I ain't for registration or storage regulation.
Whats the point of having guns for home protection if you have to put it in a locked safe. Gun safety comes down to the individual.

You give them an inch and they take more. NY already had laws for 10 round mags. Now they changed to 7 round mags. What's next single shot.

But when your kid grabs your unlocked gun and shoots my nephew? Or, later when your kid's not-previously-diagnosed-schizophrenia or manic condition starts showing and he shoots you and 10+ people...yeah? Oh, right, it's all about you.
