^Remove rails for passenger side, and have seat set as far back as possible. Mad weight savings without rails, and better weight distribution with passenger. BOOM!

I basically don't drink more than 1-2 drinks now because hangovers. After age 27-28, drinking started getting less and less fun because of the hangover. I just felt like I was killing my body.

And I only have the roll bar and driver side seat installed....need to have a conversation with Planted about their passenger side mount (Marc, does your passenger seat sit really far forward?) and figure out if there is a way to get the driver's seat a little lower.. I think the solution will be to ditch the sliders too...that extra inch is just slightly too high for me. Once that is finished I need to do the harnesses and make a trap door to cover the rear seat/trunk pass through.

And we bought a '95 E36 325IS to turn into a race car and need to get cracking on that so it is ready for testing at CTD2, then ready to race at WGI in early April.
you fail. full shop and you still had issues.

I have my passenger seat on a slider and will be doing the same for the drive side over the winter so I can have others drive my car too. You will probably get that lower height you're looking for by ditching the slider, but are you sure you can't angle/drop the seat lower on the side mounts?

Are you using the planted side mounts with their seat bracket? On my Racetech's I was limited to where I could mount the side mounts, but seat position doesn't seem to be an issue.

BTW, if I don't go into work Monday morning all sore from house/garage work on the weekend then I don't feel like I accomplished anything.

Yesterday I pulled the Ohlin Flags off the EVO and installed an OEM MR suspension. The car is so soft now, lol. Just ordered some camber bolts, fender liners and $28.00 front brake pads to finsh putting the car in winter mode... gotta love RockAuto. Car will be almost 100% bone stock for CTD v2.0.

I just got off the phone with Mr. Turbo. He asked if anyone would be interested in meeting up at Victory Brewing Company this Sunday afternoon. We did this a few years ago, and it was a blast. Sunday is supposed to be sunny and 57. Anyone down?

Yeah, but I was doing it all by myself basically...and had a full interior in the car when I pulled in the garage at 10am...now, not so much. I think the car is 150 pounds lighter... and the rear is sitting about a .5" higher.

I am going to see if Planted can modify their passenger side bracket so it adds material to start 2" further back...I will probably modify mine to allow for that.

I am using the Planted side mounts and brackets and the OMP sliders. I can't get the seat any lower in the side mounts (won't go lower than the second highest hole) without modificating the side mounts (as in cutting material out of the base area--which might be the solution). I really want to be .5" lower in the front and .75" lower in the back. I need to realign the car first and get the rear ride height set correctly...that might be throwing me off a bit too.

Those things seem to be ok? I was assured they were, but since I never drone on them, you never really know.
