I was pulled over on route 17 yesterday. Cop was following me and I pulled in to use the restroom at the wendy's. I asked "Yes Sir how can I help you".. He just said no sir Just wanted to ask a couple of questions. Askd how many miles I had what mods I had etc etc. Then he goes on to tell me he had a wrx and then just bought an sti. He was considering the EVO but the payments were like 600 a month to lease where as the sti was only 500 both with the same money down. Then he goes on to brag how he had the sti up to 150 on the public roads.. Imm like uhhh so that means I can blaze down 17 and you wont pull me over. Just an interesting experience and thought i would share.

 

Thats too funny. I was pulled over a couple of days ago, cop let me go with a warning going 11 over.

 

I don't agree with his blatant disregard for the speed limit on a public road being that he is supposed to be a public figure...but at least he was into the import scene unlike the backwoods, redneck, tobacco spittin' cops in Arkansas.

 

Where on Rt 17 was it? I got pulled over going north in Paramus doing over 70 about two weeks ago, and the cop let me off.

 

In Paramus... He pulled me off at the Wendy's Lot. Basically he pulled me over to check out my car and ask questions. Like what kinda mods he can do to his STI and who could tune it for him.. So I told him go buy a utec / or aem ems and have turbotrix tune it for him.

 

So he pulled you over for no reason to ask questions? What and idiot to tell you he does 150 on public roads

 

that is something else. I wish a cop would pull me over to tell me how he breaks the law... then maybe there could be come blackmale...

Depending on what time I see it on 17s bewteen where the wendy's is and as soon as the shoping centers start.

I got to lincoln Tech up in mahwah.

 

I had a MTA cop come up to me to ask if he could look inside at the interior.... he was like a kid in a candy store... drooling and asking all about it..... He said how he had this hooked up GTi and how much he wanted to trade it and get the evo.....

 

Ive been pulled over twice in my town, because i refuse to put the inspection sticker on my license plate. I will have to now. Its almost a guarentee when im in my hometown i know when a cop is behind me ill get pulled over. First time, the cop asked me if this was a toyota or a honda and then asked if i had any mods. He was shining the light in the car and looking at the interior. Second time, another cop in my town pulls me over (last night, actually) asking about the car, how much it puts down, whats it do in the quarter, how do i like it...etc. Another cop in fairview (where i filed a report) was asking about the car, was it fast, how do i like it, what i pay for it.

Guess the memo is getting passed around on these cars.

 

no doubt, but maybe they are just doing their homework on the street scene to cut down on street racing...
