Hit by a Legacy!

Anyone know a good body guy?

She rear ended me at about 20-30mph while headed north on i5 in Tacoma. As you can see, the entire rear bumper was tweaked quite a bit and I think she got my exhaust tip. I’m worried that my exhaust system might be damaged as well. I’m gonna have to put it up on a rack to get a better look at it. Anywho, enjoy the pics…

Man, I'm sorry to hear the bad news! Got all the insurance info though right? Goes without saying, but some out there drive with no insureance and that let's us pay for all the damages.

Hope you can get it fixed soon.

J&J Autobody does a great job...located on South Tacoma Way.

I am so sorry to hear that. Luckily, nobody was injured though. Yeah, J&J Autobody does great work and their number is 253-983-1718 on South Tacoma Way. Talk to Bill Jensen, he is the owner.

The good news is, she was insured and it was her fault. I should be back in tip top in a couple days.

There have been rare instances where a rear end collision has caused damage to the turbo. None that I know of on these cars, but if she hit the exhaust tip just right, it could have done damage to your O2 housing. Come to think of it, in these cars I'd be hard pressed to think of a way to damage either the housing or the turbo since the housing is so beefy. But, the possibility still remains that it could have pulled your manifold a bit, or messed with a motor mount or two.

Again, this is rare but documented. Give it all a cursory examination.
