haha, we've never met your girl michael . yeah, a flash at FAME would save you the task of having to unhook your ECU and sending it to Vishnu, but you would only get the base map flashed instead of a custom one.
let me know if you are interested, i'll still need to sqeeze you into the schedule since it takes time to do the reflash.

That I am not exactly sure on. I ASSUME if you bought the parts from Vishnu, at least they could give you a good discount if not free. But don't quote me on this.

Ok, I just got off the phone w/ Dustin@ Vishnu and he stated that an upgrade is free if you buy there parts. If you buy someones elses parts then a new reflash will cost $175.

Sorry for the repost, but I got some additional info.

The price is $395 w/ free tuning. The only thing you would have to pay for would be the dyno time ($100). So $495 for a custom tune out the door.

before I go any further, I'm gonna double check with Vishnu on that.
$495 for an free to upgrade flash + custom tuning + dyno use, is almost too good to be true.

Clarification:

If you are a new customer paying for an Xflash or Xede you will pay the full price for the EMS of your choice, and what we usually do is take $100 dollars off of the price of the tune. Any other fees that you owe for dyno time will be included in the final price as well.

If you are a customer that already has an Xflash or Xede you'll pay full price for tuning plus any fees for the use of the dyno.

I'm not sure what type of pricing Shiv wants to do yet, so I can't quote how much this dyno day will cost.

Damn! April 23rd is the weekend of the Oregon Trail Pro Rally, which I'm competing in. I've been looking forward to meeting Shiv for a long time, but it looks like I'll have to wait a while longer.

The cost of the dyno is approx $100 for a custom tune. This is based on 10 people using the dyno that day. Everyone: the new price list will be on the first post for all to see.
