Looks like it's going to be tight since I have a race in Portland that same weekend. I might be able to make it work, but I still need a lot of parts and have very little money at this point......not sure whether my stock clutch would last on the dyno, that's kind of the big ticket item at this point.

Count me in. I just need to get my new turbo ordered and installed before then. Shiv tuned my car at his shop last summer. He did about 20 dyno runs in about an hour tuning two maps for $200. He does great work.
Would you wanna lend a hand helping on mine too

I wouldn't mind helping, but the right tools are a must. Plan on having a nice big vice to use to seperate the O2 housing from the turbo, and some big breaker bars. You will have to replace some studs too, do your homework and be prepared. Do a search for one of my threads to see what was needed. You, for the most part, can't reuse the studs and shouldn't reuse the bolts.

. No need to seperate the O2 housing from the turbo.
True, didn't read that he was putting in that turbo. But. I did the whole cam/turbo/exhaust/fuel pump upgrade very recently, you'll need breaker bars and a vice. I ended up using both parts of my jack handle to break the cam gear bolts. The vice was necessary not only for removing the O2 housing from the turbo but also for extricating the cam from some stubborn bearing caps.

Thanks for the advice. I assume I can order all the necesarry studs and bolts through the dealer. I've done turbo swaps on S4's before, but the evo is still new to me although it should be straightforward.
