I was wondering how many he had that were confirmed for sunday, and how many more he needed to reach the 8-10 confirmed.

Since Saturday is overloaded, I could move 1 or 2 to Sunday, but only if we can get a few more ppl signed up...otherwise, you can sign up on standby or if shiv and fame both want to stay later.

Jason, Do you know if Shiv is going to bring a calibrated boost gauge with him? I don't think that Tim has one and I don't think mine is accurate. Also, the last time I was at Fame, Tim wasn't able to record A/F so his print-outs didn't include it. I hope he's added it since then.

I will check on that for you.
update - FAME said it should no problem on the a/f and they do have a calibrated 3 bar boost gauge.

11 more days

Jason any chance of Fame getting us some race gas? I really don't want to bring race gas w/ me and I don't feel like driving around Seattle trying to find some. Some 110 leaded or higher would be good.

I'll call around to see who has race gas around here. Another alternative is buy you a gallon of Xylene from Home Depot and mix it with a equal amounts of pump gas and you've got 104 octane.
Do you have methanol/water mix to run your aquamist ?

So, I'm not getting a custom tune while Shiv is here but I will be stopping by. I'm going to go on record right now that I won't leave until Shiv either:

Installs V3 on my XEDE or,
Tells me how to do it.

I, like many others, have been waiting for almost 2 months since he posted that V3 was ready and a write up would be posted. Got my cable, no write up yet. Can't get him on the phone and nobody at Vishnu says they know how to do it.

All the people I know of who are running V3 now have either sent their XEDE in, or had it done at a dyno day. If I didn't know any better it would seem to me that Shiv is relying on people to pay for a dyno tune in order to get it installed.

Sam

I don't have any methanol for my aquamist yet. At the rate I am going I may not have it installed by the dyno day .

I am sure it won't be a problem for you to upgrade to V3 at the dyno day. I won't be upgrading until it is out of BETA version though.

If you want to come up here the night before, maybe we can get your WI installed.
